Welcome to the newest feature of EHSports.com:  iCalendar calendars.  For some quick background on iCalendar, please read this Wikipedia article.  This new feature allows us to syndicate the schedules of Elder teams for easy download to the calendar software on your computer, BlackBerry, PDA, cellphone, iPhone, etc.

Initially, we only have a few team's schedules to offer as iCalendars and these calendars have undergone only limited testing.  For the 2007 Fall season we have schedules for:

• 2007 Varsity Football
• 2007 Reserve Football
• 2007 Freshman Football
• 2007 Varsity Golf
• 2007 Varsity 'B' Golf
• 2007 Reserve Golf
• 2007 Varsity Cross Country
• 2007 Varsity Soccer
• 2007 Reserve Soccer
• 2007 Freshman Soccer

We now also offer a feed of all scheduled events for all teams between today's date and 30 days in the future. It's available here.

We've tested those schedules for compatibility with the Google Calendar service.  To add either of the above schedules in Google Calendar:

1. Copy the URL of one of the above schedules
2. Log in to Google Calendar and click "Manage Calendars" at the bottom of the Calendars list
3. Under the "Other Calendars" heading, click "Add Calendar"
4. On the Add Other Calendar screen, click tab labled "Public Calendar Address"
5. Paste the URL of the schedule and click "Add"

We're in the process of testing this new feature with other computerized calendaring systems including iCal for Mac OSX and Office 2007.
